Internships

Each year, Bar C Bar has a limited number of internships available.

As an intern at the ranch, you will be exposed to all facets of the breeding and training operations. From general feeding, stall maintenance and grooming to more complex work with mare and stallion breeding preparation, foaling, weaning and halter breaking; it is all done here at the farm. Internships may be paid or unpaid, and may or may not include housing - depending on the specific program and conditions.

An intern is an integral part of starting the colts as well as fitting and training the show horses under the direction of Jason Wordsworth. Our breeding program is overseen and directed by Allen Cravens working in conjunction with our veterinarians.

To apply, email your completed application to barcbarhorses@aol.com or fax to us at 940-665-7165. With questions you can call us at: 940-665-7639.
